How is a good and successful teacher

Hello everyone!   I hope you are well and in a good mood! As classes are ending I still need to emphasize that lectures, blogs , assignments etc..   of this subject have helped me a lot how to implement the technology and its tools in education. Each week we had topics chosen by our professor, but this week she left us a free choice, a free topic. Consequently, I saw appropriate to talk about how to be a good and a successful teacher. I will try to share my thoughts and my opinions regarding this topic. At the beginning I will start from myself, how was born the idea to become an English teacher. In fact when I was a kid I did not really like this job, but when I started to study English, love for this language made me to love teaching too. Otherwise, I totally agree with the quote that teachers have three loves: love of learning, love of learners and the love of bringing the first two loves together. So, what we understand as any other job in the world teaching except ...

Some other tools that help learners to create projects

Hi everyone! It looks like the time is flying and now I am writing my fifth blog post, but for me this post is like I am doing my first one because of useful topics we have treated so far in this subject. While, I have to admit that week after week lectures are becoming more and more interesting, so I can also say that our knowledge for technology in teaching is expanding. Let’s get back to action and talk about this week’s topic.   What are some other tech tools that may help us to create projects? Well we can mention some of them and see how do they work 1.       Padlet : When students are engaged in collaborative work, Padlet is a great tool for the classroom. It works as an online bulletin board where students can post ideas, images, videos, and more. With problem based learning, Padlet works as an excellent starting point where students can post research questions and post the answers they find as they research. 2.     ...

Technology Tools in Education

Hello everyone! It is the time to write again on my blog.   On this post I am going to talk about some issues that have to do with the technology in education. Today’s topic is about how we can incorporate different technology tools in order to improve teaching skills as teachers and also to help students in their assignments, project works or presentations. As we have emphasized and mentioned many times in our previous lectures or in our posts in blog , we may admit in a figurative way that   we are “conquered” by technology in all spheres of life , while surely and in the field of teaching we find many tools that make life easier all components that represent teaching in general.   Otherwise after this introduction, of course we can ask some simple questions: What technology tools are the best, which of them we find more helpful and what kind of these tools can help learners to improve or enhance their works. So let’s get involved more in this topic, mention and ...

Cooperative learning

Hello everyone, this is my third blog post. It is a great pleasure that I have again the opportunity to talk about another topic of this subject. Last lecture we treated a very interesting topic that is surely going to help us as future teachers. It is cooperative learning. Let’s go further and talk more in details about it. At the beginning I wanted to emphasize that when I read about this topic I immediately found it important and now I can say with a complete conviction that cooperative learning can be a full package regarding a successful teaching. Why do I make a such strong claim? The answer is simple my dears, when you use this teaching strategy and implement it in the right way during your career as a teacher, the chances to get good results are really high because this strategy motivates your learners not only to acquire for themselves what is explained in class, but also encourages them   to help their classmates. In fact one of the main purposes of the cooperative...
