Week 9, my own experience as a teacher

 My own experience 

Hello everyone! It is really motivating and exciting that these last weeks we are having free topics, so we are talking and expressing everything as we think and feel in the best way we can; at least in my point of view. I do not want to repeat myself showing the importance of this magnificent subject , but personally I am very happy and optimistic at the same time that this subject is going to be  my guide for everything that offers itself. To support more my words we should only remember a simple fact that technology in EFL  does not only include the way how to apply technology in teaching, but it also gives us as future teachers we pretend to be a “good hand” to improve ourselves .After this introduction needed in my opinion, I will share with you my dears my own experience I had last week in this subject where I had to be in the role of teacher. It was in fact in the form of assignment that  I had in pairs with my colleague Ariola. Before our presentation or better say before  the day where we had to act and behave like real teachers ,we did some “warm-ups” because we knew that we had to be prepared in order to take the best results. When the lesson started I personally tried to ‘kill’ my emotions and to be concentrated at my work.  I had to be precise , quiet and transmit the new material in the best way possible, but also at the same time to involve the rest of class . In collaboration with my colleague we did to pay attention of our learners and they were very collaborative. On the other hand of course this was not a perfect work but everyone liked it and looked that everyone was enjoying as they were all the time raising thei hands to say something about the lesson. By the way one issue I can mention, it was a technical problem with PowerPoint  presentation, but of course when you are online these things can happen. Except the part of teaching that was in a good  level  and the implementation of technology seemed to had been on top as our professor told us in the end. In addition, we had some really attractive exercises regarding the topic we had chosen. Our colleagues and our professor that during that time were in the role of a pupil said the best words for us that  personally made me feel great and optimistic for the future. But of course I know very well that I have to stay focused all the time , keep improving my self, because every day I will learn something new regarding the teaching.

    Hi Shpetim. Personally speaking I LOVED your work. There was anything I would like to change or that didn't impress me. Congratulations on you and Ariola. Of course we are at our beggings and there are so much to learn and practice and there is definitely always room for improvement. I can say that you are going to be a great a teacher because you made us to concentrate on the lesson not as an obligation but as a wish to continue to see beautiful graphics explained by well prepared teachers who were ready to do anything for their students. Well done!

How is a good and successful teacher

  Hello everyone!   I hope you are well and in a good mood! As classes are ending I still need to emphasize that lectures, blogs , assignments etc..   of this subject have helped me a lot how to implement the technology and its tools in education. Each week we had topics chosen by our professor, but this week she left us a free choice, a free topic. Consequently, I saw appropriate to talk about how to be a good and a successful teacher.
